Aiura (2013)

1 - The Day Before

It is I, Kanaka Amaya of Aiura! Amazingly, I start high school tomorrow! Im a lovely fifteen year old!! In the glorious first episode of the anime, I show off my secret technique and maybe give some elementary school kid a snack?!

2 - First Day of School

Heyo, Im Saki Iwasawa. Um, Im Kanakas childhood friend. We just started our high school life. In this episode, a gorilla and a condor will make an appearance. Just kidding. Well, not really.

3 - Home Room

Nice to meet you, my name is Mei Yanase. As soon as I started high school, not only did I end up in a class with a very odd teacher, surrounded by odd classmates, but I was forced to be class representative in a day full of upheaval.

4 - Sensei

Shusaku Matsuno, 28 years old! High school teacher! I teach math!! They say Im scary, but Im the only one that can right the wrongs at this school!!

5 - Incident

Hello, Im Ayuko Uehara. We find out this episode that I could die at any time. Thank goodness. Er, wait, thats not it! In this episode, I end up killing Kanakana... Thats not it either! I wonder why I feel like Im being messed around with as soon as I started high school...

6 - Younger Brother

Hey, its Saki Iwasawa. Testing week begins today and school gets out early, so we all went to Kanakas house and... slept. I think I was asleep. I wonder why Im in charge of the lead-in this week. I dont know what happened, so you should just watch.

7 - The Amaya Household

Hello, Im Kanaka Amayas younger brother, Souta. I apologize for any trouble that my sister may have caused you. Continuing from last time, everyone is over at our house, but its not like my sister is going to clean her room, so shes doing whatever she wants to. Ive received quite a bit of unfair treatment. It was a day that I learned how to entertain guests even though Im a junior high student. Sigh...

8 - Club Activities

Hello, Im Kanaka Amaya. Lets do club activities. Our story finally takes movement in episode 8! And Kanakas ambition comes to light!! Club activities! Differences of opinion! Confusion and frustration! Comforting each other with passionate friendship! This is our youth!! Well, in the end, nothing really happens. Im not lying!

9 - Dreams

Hello, everyone! Its Misuzu Wakatsuki! I may not look it, but I am a teacher. People always mistake me for a student! Students even ask me out. The principal even calls me cute. In this episode, everyone was talking about their dreams, and I could smell that the youth were troubled with what they should do, so I appeared!

10 - Problem

Hello, its been a while. Its Ayuko Uehara. Its already episode 10. Nothing has changed in our everyday lives. Just like when we first started school, Kanakana covered my eyes, but Im not who I used to be a few months ago! I feel like Ive almost gotten to the level of Saki-chan, who can dodge Kanakana. Then again, not many people play guess who? at our age... We tried to be like the rest of the female students in the world and talk about love, but apparently that was beyond our level...

11 - Rain

Um... Jinguji Hika...ri? Hikaru...? Whatever. My name is actually Sumiko Yamashita and Im the teacher of the 1st Year, Class 3. Its raining today so I dont feel like doing anything. I could really care less that Kanaka is wearing rain boots and Saki isnt wearing any shoes at all. Why is it even raining? Its not like anyone wants to leave their house when its raining, so everything should just be closed. Then again, it would suck if the convinience stores were closed, too. Then... Stop talking about this nonsense and go home already. And that ends the first semester!

12 - See You Tomorrow

Hello! Its Kanaka Amaya! I believe its always important to be prepared for anything! And so, Im going to say something thats not very good! Im now going to say something nice! ...If I said that, Id be raising the bar too much. ...Crap, I forgot what I was going to say... Anyway, its the last episode. That was really fast.
