Yuke, a red mage, quits his A-rank party, Thunder Pike, because he feels they dont appreciate the support he provides. While seeking a new party, he encounters one of his former students, Marina, who invites him to join her new D-rank party.

Clovers first stream has drawn a lot of attention, so they accept another quest in a forest thats been taken over by a magic beast.

Clovers success in slaying the Zarnag draws more attention to them—and draws Thunder Pikes attention back to Yuke.
