Sinopse:

Todo mundo carrega seu próprio passado ao entrar em um novo relacionamento, e com Gary e Mary não é diferente. Quando o universo de Mary se choca de repente com o de Gary e sua filha Emma, de 11 anos, todos os sinais mostram que eles foram feitos para estarem juntos. Mas conforme o relacionamento avança, Mary e Gary ficam cada vez mais apavorados de que o passado de cada um possa destruí-los.
