1 - Dead Simple

Detective Superintendent Roy Grace is approached by colleague Detective Sergeant Branson to help investigate the disappearance of a Brighton property developer.

1 - Dead Mans Time

A vicious robbery at a secluded Brighton home, draws Grace and Branson into a puzzling enquiry when thousands of pounds worth of beautiful antiques are stolen from the house. As Grace digs deeper into this mysterious crime, he unearths a web of ancient grudges - a web which leads him down a dark, murderous trail through the world of Brighton antiques, in a race against the clock, to untangle who is at the heart of this robbery, and bring Gavin Daly the answers he has been desperately chasing for many years.

1 - Dead Like You

A chilling event at the Royal Edward hotel on the night of Assistant Chief Constable, Alison Vospers leaving do forces Grace and Branson into a difficult position when they must investigate all hotel guests, including high ranking East Sussex police attendees. Something about the incident is causing a deep unease in Grace- he knows hes seen this before. Has a sinister offender from Graces past dubbed the Brighton Prowler resurfaced or is this a copycat? As the attacks continue, Grace is convinced its the same man- and delving into the past may be the key to saving the next victim.

1 - Looking Good Dead

Grace senses a connection between a single death and the discovery of human remains in a field. But his superior is not convinced.

2 - Want You Dead

Grace and Branson investigate a case where nothing is truly as it first appears. When an unidentified victim is found dead in curious circumstances, the post mortem reveals more questions than it does answers. As Grace works to identify the body, hoping this might provide some crucial clue as to the killers motive, he soon has another death on his hands when a second victim shows up in central Brighton, discovered in similarly bizarre circumstances.

2 - Dead Man;s Grip

Grace and his team are called to the site of a tragic road traffic collision involving three vehicles: an articulated lorry, a car and a blue pickup truck. An unexpected discovery at the scene, found on the victim, soon suggests there could be far more to this particular accident than meets the eye, sparking an unsettling chain of events which leads Grace and Branson on a tense, desperate game of cat and mouse through the city of Brighton to save an innocent life before time runs out.

2 - Not Dead Enough

Months on from his last investigation, and with Graces team still reeling from the fallout, Roy must prove that a wealthy Brighton businessman has brutally murdered his wife.

3 - Not Dead Yet

A rising music star, Gaia Lafayette, receives the opportunity of a lifetime, and the same night that she excitedly announces to her devoted fans that she and her band are headed to LA, a shocking turn of events leads Grace and Branson to believe someone may be trying to harm her. With a perpetrator on the loose, Roy must deduce who of Gaias fanbase may be concealing sinister intentions. Meanwhile, a grisly discovery on a remote Sussex pig farm puts Roy under serious pressure, forcing him to split his team in order to investigate two impossible lines of enquiry.

3 - Dead Mans Footsteps

A sinister inquiry into skeletal remains found in a forgotten Brighton storm drain takes Grace down a labyrinthine trail through the past.

3 - You Are Dead

Grace and Branson are thrown into what is possibly their most disturbing and high-profile case yet, when an unsettling discovery of skeletal remains is unearthed by workmen digging up a path in central Brighton. Meanwhile, across the city that same morning, a victim is snatched in broad daylight. With no witnesses and no sign of who took her, Grace starts to suspect whether the victims fiancé is lying to the police.

4 - Love You Dead

When a known Brighton burglar is found dead in his car, in gruesome circumstances, his wife claims that he had turned over a new leaf, but all the evidence points to the fact the victim may still have been up to his old tricks and was breaking and entering on the night he was killed. As Grace and the team work to hone in on the circumstances leading to the victims death, Roy receives a call from a US police contact about a crime abroad which bears the hallmarks of a mafia hit. The police are keen to trace a woman they believe to be from Brighton, who could be in danger. As Roy scours the city to help find her, it becomes apparent he isnt the only one looking for this mysterious woman.
